The Art Spirit Gallery Celebrates Summer with New Exhibit “Summer Color” Opening July 5th at 11 a.m.

Coeur d’Alene, Idaho — Just one day after the Fourth of July festivities, The Art Spirit Gallery invites the community to kick off summer with the opening of its newest exhibit in their ‘Elevated Gallery’ - “Summer Color,” debuting Saturday, July 5th at 11 a.m. This vibrant show features inspiring works from two talented artists Hannah Spencer, and Louise Telford.

Celebrate our 29th year in business and reconnect with the creative spirit that makes Coeur d’Alene so special. The exhibit will run through July 27th, offering a perfect opportunity to experience fresh perspectives through art, storytelling, and community.

Meet the Artists:

  • Hannah Spencer (North Fork, ID): A self-taught woodblock artist whose love of nature and the western landscape is reflected in her bold black-and-white prints. Growing up sailing and exploring New York’s natural beauty, Hannah now lives off-grid by the Salmon River, where she continues to draw inspiration from her surrounding wild landscape. Her work emphasizes traditional, handcrafted techniques, creating a sense of timeless connection to nature.
  • Louise Telford (Post Falls): A passionate glass artist and former student of Pilchuk Glass School, Louise’s work features vibrant, layered fused glass pieces, ranging from functional sushi plates to stunning jewelry and sculptures. Her dedication to craftsmanship and the beauty of glass shines through her intricate, light-reflecting designs. Outside her studio, Louise balances her art with her work as a respiratory therapist, and her pieces are widely collected across the country.

Join us on July 5th for a lively morning of art, conversation, and community. The Artist Talk will feature insights from Louise as she shares her creative journeys and inspiration.
