Mike Baker has transformed community healthcare for over two decades through visionary leadership and innovative solutions. As CEO of Heritage Health, he has pioneered programs tackling critical issues like diabetes, mental health, and obesity while expanding access to care. His focus on merging innovation with compassionate care has redefined healthcare delivery in the region.
Mike’s passion for community health began as an AmeriCorps Member in Salt Lake City, igniting a career dedicated to improving outcomes and access. Rooted in the values instilled by his parents and inspired by Heritage Health’s founder, Lidwin Dirne, Mike prioritizes empathy and connection in his leadership, excelling at building trust and turning challenges into opportunities.
Mike earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Utah and an MBA that informs his relationship-driven approach. Beyond his work, he is a dedicated husband and father of three and a creative at heart—channeling his love for art and music into personal projects. He’s also an avid outdoorsman and hockey goalie who thrives on challenges, continuous growth, and relationship-building.
