The Art Spirit is a fine art and fine craft gallery located in downtown Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The gallery features original work by established artists from the northwest region and emerging artists.  The artwork consistently has a high degree of creativity and craftsmanship across a wide variety of mediums and styles.  Each month the gallery is repainted and hung with a new show of original work, creating a changing and vibrant art environment.  In addition to the 2 floors of exhibition space, there is a beautiful rubble stone basement with several hundred pieces of inventory.

Opening receptions are generally held on the second Friday of each month from April through December in conjunction with the Coeur d’Alene downtown Art Walks.  The opening receptions are popular community events providing opportunities to view the art, meet the artists and socialize with friends and neighbors.

Steve Gibbs, artist and owner of the gallery, strives to bring high- quality art to the resort community of Coeur d’Alene, while fostering the work of local and regional artists.  He also joins with various arts organizations to actively promote art education and develop awareness and participation in the arts on a community and state level.
